FAQ

Can I get some unread counts?

Yes. The next version will let you badge your icon – although, we kind of recommend against it. While you’ll have the option to either badge the iPhone home screen icon with the TrueNew count or the total unread count, that number can quickly become irrelevant.

Well, what about push notifications?

We have our reasons for not having it yet, but the biggest is the irrelevance of the number. Again, we can monitor and push updates to your icon, but that number is irrelevant if you check your mail online before you check your iPhone again.

We’re also VERY wary of push for email, because we simply do not want to store your password on our servers. We’re working together to figure out an elegant solution.
